The Breakfast Club runs Monday through Friday on days school is in session (not on Professional Days or Statutory Holidays). Children are welcome to come any time between 8:00-8:40 to join us in the library for a healthy meal. Breakfast items may include one or more of the following; oatmeal, cold cereal and milk, fruit, yogurt, toast and cheese, juice and hot chocolate.
RUNNING CLUB:
The Langley Meadows Running Group meets in the school parking lot every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm for an (approximately) hour run/walk. Both beginner and experienced runners are welcome. Please check out our facebook page (Langley Meadows Running Group) for daily/weekly schedule updates.
Yoga for adults will runs each Monday from 6:20-7:20pm beginning in the school library.
NEVER DONE YOGA BEFORE??? Come along and try it out, all fitness (and flexibility) levels are welcome!
$7 drop-in fee
This popular open gym program for students in grades 5-7 operates from our school gym.

Nathen from Beljams.com rolled up his colourful truck Friday morning to give back to the community in support of LMCA’s Breakfast Club.
He offers up a challenge to other food trucks to use offseason time & conserve waste with charitable service. This morning THAT smelled like a waffley WIN-WIN for Langley Meadows! 🙂

THAT’S THE SPIRIT SHOPPING EVENT:
The Langley School District Foundation has partnered with Willowbrook Shopping Centre to bring you THAT’S THE SPIRIT!, an exclusive, after-hours ticketed shopping event to be held Tuesday, November 15 from 6:30 – 9:30pm. This adult-oriented evening will feature $20,000+ in prizes and giveaways, free Santa photos, gift with purchase offer, free refreshments, live entertainment, store discounts and more. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Tickets are $10 each and 100% of the ticket price comes back to the school benefitting our students and programs. Last year, more than $19,000 was raised for schools around the district!
If you are interested in purchasing a ticket and doing some evening Christmas shopping, (our just shopping in general!) please see Mrs. Young in the school office to get your ticket.

This council promotes free exchange of ideas, identifies local needs and concerns and encourages community involvement
LMCA HALLOWEEN SAFETY HOUSE:
The Jacobs home will again be hosting the LMCA Neighbourhood Safety House at 2307 Wakefield Drive during trick or treating time October 31st. Be sure your children are aware that this resource exists for them should they need assistance and do drop by and warm up with some hot chocolate.
4th ANNUAL LMCA WINTER CRAFT FAIR:
The Langley Meadows Community Association will be will be hosting our Annual Winter Craft Fair on Saturday, November 5th, 10am-3pm.
The popular event was organized to showcase the wealth of creativity in the community and draws participation from dozens of vendors each year offering many unique items ideal for helping you to check off your holiday shopping list! Bring your friends and family and join us to admire all the goods and shop locally.
LMCA Co-Coordinator, Erin Yachuk, says “We want to be able to support those talented people in our area doing great work, especially those who are re-purposing goods into awesome new creations.”
Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis and pre-registration with payment guarantees a space. Email LangleyMeadowsCommunity@gmail.com for more info and/or to book a table. (Table Fee is $20 + product for draw)

THAT’S THE SPIRIT SHOPPING EVENT:
The Langley School District Foundation has partnered with Willowbrook Shopping Centre to bring you THAT’S THE SPIRIT!, an exclusive, after-hours ticketed shopping event to be held Tuesday, November 15 from 6:30 – 9:30pm. This adult-oriented evening will feature $20,000+ in prizes and giveaways, free Santa photos, gift with purchase offer, free refreshments, live entertainment, store discounts and more. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
Tickets are $10 each and 100% of the ticket price comes back to the school benefitting our students and programs. Last year, more than $19,000 was raised for schools around the district!
If you are interested in purchasing a ticket and doing some evening Christmas shopping, (our just shopping in general!) please see Mrs. Young in the school office to get your ticket.

The Langley Meadows Community Association, a non-profit organization, is an advisory council made up of a group of volunteers, consisting of community residents, staff and agency representatives. This council promotes free exchange of ideas, identifies local needs and concerns and encourages community involvement
LMCA HALLOWEEN SAFETY HOUSE:
The Jacobs home will again be hosting the LMCA Neighbourhood Safety House at 2307 Wakefield Drive during trick or treating time October 31st. Be sure your children are aware that this resource exists for them should they need assistance and do drop by and warm up with some hot chocolate.
4th ANNUAL LMCA WINTER CRAFT FAIR:
The Langley Meadows Community Association will be will be hosting our Annual Winter Craft Fair on Saturday, November 5th, 10am-3pm.
The popular event was organized to showcase the wealth of creativity in the community and draws participation from dozens of vendors each year offering many unique items ideal for helping you to check off your holiday shopping list! Bring your friends and family and join us to admire all the goods and shop locally.
LMCA Co-Coordinator, Erin Yachuk, says “We want to be able to support those talented people in our area doing great work, especially those who are re-purposing goods into awesome new creations.”
Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis and pre-registration with payment guarantees a space. Email LangleyMeadowsCommunity@gmail.com for more info and/or to book a table. (Table Fee is $20 + product for draw)
BREAKFAST CLUB:
The Breakfast Club runs Monday through Friday on days school is in session (not on Professional Days or Statutory Holidays). Children are welcome to come any time between 8:00-8:40 to join us in the library for a healthy meal. Breakfast items may include one or more of the following; oatmeal, cold cereal and milk, fruit, yogurt, toast and cheese, juice and hot chocolate.
RUNNING CLUB:
The Langley Meadows Running Group meets in the school parking lot every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30pm for an (approximately) hour run/walk. Both beginner and experienced runners are welcome. Please check out our Facebook page (Langley Meadows Running Group) for daily/weekly schedule updates.
Yoga:
Yoga for adults runs each Monday from 6:20-7:20pm in the school library
Beginners and all body types welcome! $7 drop-in fee
Nights Alive:
This popular open gym program for students in grades 5-7 operates from our school gym.
Program has resumed Fridays. Parents need to accompany children on first night to fill in registration forms.

Save the Date! This community favourite happens Saturday, Dec 10th from 8:00 am… get there early to catch the “Big Guy” himself making an appearance.
